Peavey Revalver Mk Iii

The Peavey ReValver MKIII.V is an affordable digital guitar rack. Many people like to compare this to Guitar Rig but I don’t think you can really make that comparison because it gives you so much more than Guitar Rig does. Though Guitar Rig does seem to run smoother in multiple software applications, the ReValver MKIII.V gives me a lot of lag issues in certain programs but because of how good it is I can deal with it.SUITABILITY/PERFORMANCEThe MKIII.V comes with over 700 speaker simulations and has 12 different rack type of effects. There are over 10 preamps and 21 stompbox effects.

The MKIII.V will give you a complete vintage style of a sound to your guitars or whatever audio you want to run through it quickly and easily. I love the Peavey 6505 amp that it has. There are some other really good ones to that give you that classic and warm sound that you use to get on the vintage hardware models years ago.OVERALL OPINIONThe only downfall with this is that using it on a PC, even with ASIO drivers you still might run into some issues with it eating up your CPU and lagging on you. I have tried everything to fix it and even installed it on another PC system thinking that something Just wasn’t right with my DELL computer and MKIII.V.
But that didn’t solve the issue. The only fix for me was to not use it on a PC all together if I wanted it to run smoothly. It works great on my MacBook though and never gave me any issues with a lag or being slow.If you are looking for some really good amps and effects to give you an updated sound even though it is really a retro sound, you must have this. You cannot beat the price of it either and though they have not updated the drivers for it yet, I am sure if there is ever an issue or something happens they will update them quickly.
Guitar Amp Modelling Software compatible with Mac and PC.20 amp models, including Peavey 6505, Classic, 3120, Sensation 20, Masterpiece 50, ValveKing and JSX amps and Budda SuperDrive and V-Series amps. Nothing specialsoft bcp provides ability to customize but need time and also the knowledge of the subject to make the most. So I personally use the app in 'simple' version, I do not create my cab etc. But it is doable!SUITABILITY/PERFORMANCETo play in normal mode it will not have a problem with a recent machine.
Against it by x64 mode requires a lot of resource. To play live with this mode you need a very powerful pc (I have an i7 @ 2Ghz and it is barely enough). Well, it remains anecdotal, because it is a way provided for the rendering of the game and not in real time, but to say that the app in in under the hood!OVERALL OPINIONit's been several years that I use now. I washed purchased and not used too much and there qq months I lai reinstall because I wanted to try it with another guitar. I'm given and I dropped all other blow!I do not use the cab ReValver but redwires with IR (not that the cab is bad but hey I have more choices than done and as profitable as the thing!)I always put the cab in resampling and high quality, otherwise it can sound a little 'fizz' and in this way, it sounds good and it adjusts very quickly. For good point for peavey, and report, the presets are very good starting points most of the time.Compared to Amplitube (very good too, especially the custom shop) I find more ReValver plug & play and also more realistic (and less flattering 'smooth').In short, a very good app that if it does not offer thousands of amp and pedals, has a good range of sounds, very successful and gives us our money's worth. What a bad idea that I had to let him sleep for almost a year!
